not sure if this should go in the farming section since this is going to be a farming build once i find some areas.
But this is for players who have an ele but wanna farm on it, but can't find a lot of areas i am just wondering how well this would work for general areas.
[Glyph of Renewal][Sliver Armor][healing breeze][Protective Spirit][Balthazar's Spirit][mending][Essence Bond][aura of restoration]
14 earth
9 prot
8 healing
10 energy storage
thats how it works out with runes.
i know its a basic build, but its just an idea that popped into my head.
Apply enchants upon entering then apply prot spirit and hb and aura of resto. The idea behind aura is to allow you to farm areas that only a monk could supposdly farm.
Aura of resto also allows you to use it as a cover enchant since it has a fast recharge without you sacing your HB instead
I dont know how well this would work.
Could someone test my ideas for me, I wont be home for a week or so. So I have no way of testing the idea for a while and i am curious

one flaw is that you're maintaining three enchants. two of which require being hit to gain energy.
Silver Armor BLOCKS physical attacks roughly 50% of the time, so you're cutting your energy gain, essentially in half.
With Prot Spirit, HB, Aura Resto and Silver Armor all costing 10 energy, you'll be facing some heavy energy issues.

Why in the world not 16 Earth Magic with a 55 whose only damage skill is in Earth? You can sacrifice some Healing Prayers or Energy Storage (which should also have a +3 rune, not sure if that's figured in to your atts), especially if you're using Aura of Restoration, to get bigger damage.
55 is mostly trumped by a number of other builds, but it's an interesting idea. Post some pics of farmable areas and how quickly it can move.

Im still messing with stats. And yes the plus 3s are figured in. The reason i dont use the max of it is that 3-5 dmg isn't going to make all that much diff in my experience.
I know terra would work better but this was just made for fun. Problem with terra is that you have a period apon which everthing is down and you dont get to maintain sliver. isn't there a monk build that uses silver armor to farm as well? It never seems to run out of energy, and i dont think it uses the signet either. but i could be wrong. Since sliver armor only blocks so few attacks ever. Even if it is just 50% I still seem to get hit a bunch on a terra using sliver.

I've used that to farm your usual 55 areas and a couple boss farms. I usually use [shield of absorption] or instead of aura of resto to keep my health up without having to steady spam out spells.
I run 5 points in e storage which is plenty to take earth to 16 and to add some points elsewhere like [frigid armor] if you want to farm exuro for example.
You do have to figure in the blocking effect on sliver but in hm you will take enough hits for it to not really matter. Either way it's about as effective as a 330.
